Liam S.E. McCarthy
Liam McCarthy is a member of Conley & Company's Financial Services practice. Mr. McCarthy specializes in asset management, venture capital, and private equity recruiting. In the area of asset management, Liam focuses on senior level assignments in all functional areas, including portfolio managers, analysts, sales, marketing and client services professionals. Within private equity recruiting, Liam focuses on various stages of investing, from early-stage venture capital to large private equity buyout funds.
Prior to joining Conley & Company, Liam played professional hockey for four years. During his minor-league career, he won two championships and ended his playing days with the New York Rangers’ organization. Liam received his B.S. in Psychology from Harvard College, where he was named a James H. Lowell ’14 Scholar and was awarded the Harvard Club of Boston Scholarship. As a defenseman for Harvard’s varsity hockey team, he helped the team capture the 2002 ECAC Championship as well as two Ivy League titles during his tenure. In his spare time, Liam plays bass guitar and enjoys spirited political debate.
